We commemorated our Grandpa Leaf at his grave on the 1st anniversary of his death

We commemorated our Grandpa Leaf A. Nihat Gökyiğit, one of the Founding Honorary Presidents of TEMA Foundation, who passed away on January 25, 2023, with love, respect and great longing, with the ceremony we held at his grave in İstanbul on the 1st anniversary of his death.

In addition to Vahide Gigin, member of our Board of Trustees and Gökyiğit's daughter and his family members, Ümit Gürses, member of our Board of Trustees, Deniz Ataç, chairperson of our Board of Directors, Dr. Hikmet Öztürk and Didem Bilgin, our Deputy General Managers, staff from our Headquarters as well as Şerafettin Mart, Beykoz District Manager, Dilek Bulut, Zeytinburnu District Manager and Ramazan Akyıldız, İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Young TEMA President attended the ceremony we held at his grave in Edirnekapı Sakızağacı Cemetery, İstanbul.

A wreath with the inscription "Our Grandpa Leaf, we will always remember you, we follow the footsteps of our founders" was laid on A. Nihat Gökyiğit’s grave, and then prayers were said.
