We commemorated our Grandpa Earth on the 4th anniversary of his death

We commemorated our Grandpa Earth Hayrettin Karaca, one of the Founding Honorary Presidents of the TEMA Foundation, who passed away on January 20, 2020, with love, respect and great longing, at the ceremony held at his grave in İstanbul and at the Karaca Arboretum in Yalova, on the 4th anniversary of his death.

Deniz Ataç, Chairperson of the Board, Füsun Tümsavaş, our Board Member, Başak Yalvaç Özçağdaş our General Manager, Dr. Hikmet Öztürk and Didem Bilgin, our Deputy General Managers, staff from our Headquarters as well as Gülseren Bal. In addition to and our Headquarters employees, Kadıköy District Manager, Çağatay Türe Büyükçekmece, District Manager and Fatih Kasar, İstanbul University Young TEMA President attended the ceremony we held at his grave in Edirnekapı Cemetery, İstanbul.

A wreath with the inscription "Our Grandpa Earth, we will always remember you, we follow the footsteps of our founders" was laid on Hayrettin Karaca's grave, and then prayers were said.

Commemoration ceremony at Karaca Arboretum from our Yalova Provincial Representation

Our Yalova Provincial Representation held a ceremony to commemorate our Grandpa Earth at the Karaca Arboretum in Yalova, which he founded with his many years of efforts and he loved.

Our Board of Trustees Member and Hayrettin Karaca's granddaughter Yeşne İren, our Yalova Provincial Representative Arzu Demir and our representation team, TEMA Foundation volunteer teachers and students from the classes, and many nature lovers who loved and valued Hayrettin Karaca attended the ceremony.

The ceremony ended with prayers for our Grandpa Earth Hayrettin Karaca.
