This information form has been prepared to inform the personal data owner within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data about the process regarding the collection, storage, sharing, processing and deletion of personal data shared with the Foundation by TEMA Foundation by donors, volunteers and all stakeholders who support TEMA Foundation.
Within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law"), which entered into force after being published in the official gazette on 07.04.2016, TEMA Foundation has the title of "Data Controller" and carries out the necessary compliance studies to fulfill the obligations required by this title.
You, our valuable donors, volunteers and stakeholders, can share your personal data with TEMA Foundation through channels such as Foundation Headquarters, Representative Offices, website, bank and SMS; verbally, in writing or electronically. Your personal data you have shared will be kept by TEMA Foundation within the framework of this Law and will be processed within the framework of your consent. Your personal data may be used by us in order to carry out promotional, thank, informative and announcement communications regarding TEMA Foundation, to collect and compile statistical information, to improve donation, volunteering, training and advocacy activities. You, as the personal data owner;
(a) To learn whether personal data is being processed,
(b) Request information if their personal data has been processed,
(c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
(d) Knowing the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
(e) To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
(f) To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in case the reasons requiring its processing disappear,
(g) To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
(h) To object to the occurrence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
(I) In the event that personal data is damaged due to unlawful processing of personal data, we would like to state that you have the right to demand the compensation of the damage.
As TEMA Foundation as the data controller;
(1) To comply with the legal principles in the processing of personal data,
(2) Obtaining explicit consent for personal and sensitive personal data,
(3) To take all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the appropriate level of security in order to prevent unlawful processing and access to personal data and to ensure the protection of personal data,
(4) We would like to state that we undertake to act in accordance with the rights of the personal data owner listed above and to eliminate any possible damage related to these rights.
