Creating a Memorial Forest

You can create a memorial forest in the areas where we conduct our afforestation efforts by donating saplings, which will ensure that the name of your loved ones or your organization lives on in nature.

As the TEMA Foundation, we conduct our Memorial Forest projects in areas designated by the General Directorate of Forestry as part of the afforestation program for that year.

If you wish, you can donate to create an Individual Memorial Forest in the name of your loved ones. It is required to donate minimum 2,000 saplings to create an Individual Memorial Forest. Upon request, we will erect a plaque with your loved one's name on the site after the saplings are planted.

In our Individual Memorial Forest actions, the sapling unit price is TRY 95.

You can contact us regarding your requests to create an individual Memorial Forest by sending an e-mail to hatiraormani@tema.org.tr or by calling +90 (212) 291-9090 between 08.30 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 17.30 on weekdays (excluding public holidays and religious festivals) and pressing 3.

To create a Corporate Memorial Forest in your organization's name, it is required to donate minimum 10,000 saplings. Upon your request, we will erect a sign with your organization's name and logo after the saplings are planted.

If you would like to donate saplings for 'TEMA Foundation Hope Forests'; 

• 3,000 - 4,999 sapling donations for sapling donations up to the number of 4,999 Donation Certificate specially prepared for your organization,
• For donations of 5,000 to 9,999 saplings, we present a Tree Plaque specially prepared for your organization.
• The unit price for our Corporate Memorial Forest and Hope Forest projects is TRY 95.

Upon your request, we can also issue sapling donation certificates with your organization's logo and name for each sapling you donate. 

• For your electronic certificate requests, each e-certificate costs 10 TL.
• For printed certificates, the cost of each printed certificate up to 3,000 pieces is 25 TL, and the cost of each printed certificate over 3,000 pieces is 20 TL.
