Ms. Füsun TÜMSAVAŞ graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics and Finance.
After 2 years of work experience at the Central Bank of Türkiye, she started to work as a civil servant in the Loans Directorate of Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. in January 1981. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant service officer, assistant credit specialist, assistant manager in 1994 and unit manager in 1999 in the same directorate, and in 2004 she was appointed as the manager of the Commercial Credits Department.
She was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of İşbank at the General Assembly dated 2008. Acting as the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors since 2011, Ms. TÜMSAVAŞ became the Chairperson of the Board in 2019.
In addition to her duty at the bank, she has also assumed the duty of Chairperson of Anadolu Sigorta Board of Directors since 2020. After 41 years of career in Türkiye İş Bankası, she is still the Chairperson of Anadolu Sigorta Board of Directors.
